Caveat: it's still early, and there's much that could happen to invalidate not only this prediction, but the backing reasons behind it.

But with no further ado, please welcome your next US President:

John McCain!

Here's why:
1) Hillary Clinton has too many negatives
2) Obama doesn't have any accomplishments to point to
3) If Obama wins, feminists will be resentful for his denying the First Woman President!
4) If Clinton wins, blacks will be resentful for her denying the First (Real) Black President!
5) The Democratic nomination is amazingly close; they will both be spending their campaign cash to defeat the other, and whichever wins will be too cash-strapped to match McCain (who has sewn up the GOP nomination)
6) McCain has a good enough Maverick! record to distance himself from W.'s administration to get the votes of those who hate Bush, and enough of a good GOP record to get the votes of those who support Bush.
