Regarding the Mentos' "Bird" Commercial « Social Issues »
Indeed the song is No Limit, sung by the former Dutch band 2Unlimited.

And,

Here's the site you can see the commercial. The video of "No Limit" can be seen here.

Don't thank me, thank the tireless effort of my reader, Eric. Nice job, dude.

That would be the one and only Mentos commercial that I've ever been able to stomach.

Ever.

Alive, yes, but not 'back from the dead'. That would by Zombyboy's schtick.

I love that commercial, and was wondering what the song was. It sounded familiar to me. Heck, when I listened to the actual song it sounded familiar. Nice find!

I want to know bird is saying in the commercial, the parrot. You know, in the pet shop. What is it saying?! it pisses me off not knowing...

Posted by: Niki at June 4, 2005 09:30 PM

I'm prety sure the parrot says "There's no limit". That commercial rocks and I've been trying to find a copy of it to download but to no avail. If anybody finds one, can you email me the URL?

Posted by: Dominic Lacasse at June 5, 2005 11:18 PM

That commercial just so happens to be the best commmercial ever.

Posted by: Kyle at June 8, 2005 08:57 PM

I believe you! I've just never seen it, myself. I think I can live my life happily without doing so...so I'm perplexed that my site has become such an important place for discussing it!

...not that I mind.

Posted by: KiO at June 11, 2005 08:09 PM

Why it was called pokemon I don't know. As long as it works though I'm happy.

Posted by: KiO at June 11, 2005 08:14 PM

Posted by: sotos at June 12, 2005 04:46 PM

I think it is funny and great that there are so many comments about this commercial. I love it and my friends and I have a ball with it. It gets stuck in our heads and makes eating mentos even more fun! Whoever dreamed it up is a genious. Probably one of the best commercials as of yet!I am looking to download it too. Let me know
