Fun With Google Searches « Blogging »

Interestingly, I am the #1 post on a Google Search for 'malibu ls v6 review'. How cool is that?

And for some reason, I've been getting lots of searches on all engines for variations on "mentos bird commercial", a full 48% of search hits leading to my site. What gives?

The birds are actually chirping a song by a Dutch band. The song is "No Limit" by the band "2 Unlimited"

I think the commercial is very cool, and would like a URL where I can view/download it

I found a site that has a link to the commercial.
Also, the cd is really cheap on half.com

The parrot says "There's No Limit"
I could only figure this out after finding out that the song is called "No Limit" by some dutch band

Here's the link -

Does anyone know where I can download it to my PC from? This link does not let you download it (as far as I can tell), just view it.

I love the commercial, too! It always gets my attention and makes me laugh. Most people don't remember seeing the woman in the commercial--but she has an interesting expression and adds to the oddness of the advertisement.

The parrot, which appears at the end of the commercial, says "There's no sugar" -- as the ad is for the sugarless Mentos (in response to the "matt j" posting on 5/30/05).

P.S. The original "No Limit" is a great song to dance to!

I had to post a second comment after having viewed the version of the commercial that it on the site posted by "DDW" on 8/21/05.
The parrot is in the "middle" of the commercial in this version and does say "There's no limit," just like the original song. The version that has been showing in the Philadelphia region is shortened and has the parrot appearing at the end, saying "There's no sugar." Apparently there are full-length and shortened versions--and the parrot's line is different for the sugarless mint ad.
